My life so far

I was born in Monterey, CA weighing in at 5lbs 12 ounces. I was born one month early. As a child I was severely allergic to regular milk and milk products, so I grew up on an artificial soy milk, and since my mom was head of the whole county for social services I stayed at daycare most of the time when my dad wasn't home. I learned to walk the morning my dad came home from a night shift-it was Christmas day. If I remember right the only time I ever got in trouble in school (aside from recently) was when I knocked a kid off his chair sending him flying into the corner of a metal desk....and he kind of cracked his head a lil' bit open. I didn't mean to. It was in first grade that happened. Then I had to switch schools because the school boundaries changed so I was sent to the elementary school downtown where you had to wear uniforms. To this day I absolutely despise uniforms! It's hard to explain I just do. Anyway, I stayed there for two years, and then my dad got a job up in the San Francisco Bay area, so we moved into an apartment. I then went and finished elementary school, and started middle school. That was the start of misery. I enjoyed middle school but I found out I had scoliosis (look it up in a dictionary or online it'll be bound to have something on it). I wore a backbrace, which didn't help, and then moved to a 23 hour backbrace. It was insane. I wore that for 3 years before they found it didn't help and if I didn't get back surgery I'd become a cripple. So I did-and I graduated from middle school with no brace or body cast in sight. Freshman year was fun though, I made some of the best friends I'll ever have there. But in the spring of that year something went wrong. I was on the receiving end of physiological depression. Not like when your depressed...no no it's not like that. It's like your depressed and it STAYS that way. I was very suicidal over the next few months until I got some help. It was during that I found out my love for the internet languages and graphic design. Without that hardship I would've never known. Eventually I was prescribed some medecine to help my mind out of the depression. I've now moved, have adjusted, made more friends, and feel more confident than ever that I can be whatever I want, and do whatever I can put my mind to. I hope this wasn't too boring for you. My life has been rocky in some parts (like most people's) but somehow-when you least expect it, things turn around for the better.
